The short version
We don't collect your personal data. We don't track you. We don't run ads. There are no accounts, no cookies tied to you as a person, and no database storing your information.
That's the whole story — but here's the longer version for completeness.
1. What we collect
Nothing that identifies you personally.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical data — IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, time of visit — for server performance and security purposes. This is standard infrastructure logging, not user tracking. We do not access or use this data for marketing or analytics.
2. Cookies
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. If our hosting environment sets any technical cookies for basic site function, they contain no personal information and are not used to identify or follow you.
3. When you apply for a job
When you click "Apply" on any listing, you are redirected directly to the employer's own website or application portal. At that point, you leave Vacancy.design entirely.
Any information you submit as part of your application — your name, resume, email, or anything else — goes to the employer, not to us. We never see it, receive it, or store it. The employer's own privacy policy governs what happens next.
4. When you post a job
If you post a job listing, we collect only what you voluntarily submit in the posting form — typically a job title, description, company name, and application link. This information is published publicly on the site. We do not tie it to any personal profile or account.
For boosted listings, payment is processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your payment details.
5. Third-party services
We may use minimal third-party infrastructure (hosting, CDN, payment processing for boosts). These providers have their own privacy policies. We choose providers that respect user privacy and do not use your data for their own advertising.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar tracking tools.
6. Children
Vacancy.design is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
7. Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect that. Since we collect almost nothing, changes here should be rare.
