Hi, I'm Asyrof.

 

I'm a senior product designer from Yogyakarta, Indonesia — currently designing at Lazer. I've been working remotely for companies in North America for over 8 years.

 

Why I built this

 

One simple reason: equal opportunity.

 

I've been lucky in this industry. Over the years, I've worked with great teams, met brilliant designers from across the globe, and experienced firsthand what it means to have access to world-class opportunities, both in terms of craft and compensation.

 

But back home, remote work only became mainstream after COVID. And even now, with economic uncertainty and layoffs everywhere, I keep thinking: we should be helping each other. Helping each other survive, grow, and keep doing what we love "designing".

 

I genuinely believe every designer brings something valuable to the table. The real blocker isn't talent. It's visibility. Too many great designers are stuck in their city or region, unaware of how many doors are open to them, if they could just get in front of the right people.

 

Vacancy.design is my small attempt to change that radar.
